10,000 maniacs

.

Just a quick post to note ‘Last of the Summer Whine’ has notched up it’s 10,000th hit since moving over to WordPress in the middle of May. Or to put it another way, a member of the Yorkshire team checks to see I’m not calling him fat, for every 5 and a half words of drivel I write.

Whilst loitering on the WordPress stats page, I also noted that eight people have clicked on the link to Andy Gale & Chris Taylor’s coaching academy, in that time. So by my reckoning, if each person has purchased an average of £250,000 worth of coaching, I’ve made them both millionaires in the space of three and a half months. And how much commission have they passed on for that? Not a bloody sausage…kids today…

  1. 10,000 hits is grand Len – many of them may have stayed to read even when they realised there was no Norah Batty and Compo Internet porn.

And re the hits on the coaching academy – suspect at least one of those will be the RentmanVaughan checking up on the address before he goes to collect his dues

  2. Michael moved out of property before the credit crunch started. He’s smart like that. I’ll make reference to his new business ventures in a later post.

  3. I thought you were going to inform us that Natalie Merchant et al were going to play a gig at Headingley – you tease, Len!

  4. Are they Mods or Rockers Mel?

  5. A modern beat combo from the 80s/90s, Len. A bit like the Count Basie orchestra.

  6. They sound like they’d be absolutely dreadful, Mel. I’ll ask Ajmal if he likes them.
